CREAM CHEESE VALENTINE DOG BISCUITS
Buttercup Remembered
Biscuit:
1 Cup of brown rice flour
1 egg
1/4 Cup applesauce
1/4 Cup water
1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Frosting:
cream cheese
beetroot powder
Preparation: 30 min Cooking: 10-15 mins Makes: approx. 16 biscuit sandwiches
Directions:
1. Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet.
2. Beat egg in a large bowl. Combine the applesauce, coconut oil, cinnamon, and flour. Mix well.
3. Mix in water a little at a time. Keep adding + mixing until you get a workable dough that isn't too
sticky. Also, add more flour as needed.
4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4″ thick. Cut out the desired shape either with cookie cutters or with a
knife.
5. Place in the oven for 10-15 mins.
6. Now for the frosting! Mix together the cream cheese and beetroot powder. Gradually add powder
until you achieve the desired color.
7. Be sure to wait until biscuits are completely cool before frosting them.
8. The frosting can be applied with a knife or piped on for a more fancy look.
9. Refrigerate. Best eaten within 3-5 days.
