Make a bird feeder
Recycled materials can be used to make
a variety of bird feeders. Recycling toilet
paper tubes, plastic bottles, popsicle
sticks, and pine cones allowed us to
make bird feeders! Get Creative!
Start a garden
There's nothing better than playing in dirt with your
kids! Get them involved in making a family garden.
Together, you can plant an edible garden or a flower
garden. You can always cultivate a potted garden or
patio garden if you are living in a city or do not have
much space.
Plant a tree
Plant a tree on Earth Day! Having Earth Day
on April 22 is an excellent reason to plant in
the spring. You can all visit the tree for years
to come if you choose a special place to plant
it! You can also enjoy beautiful blossoms and
fruit once your fruit tree has matured if you
plant a fruit tree.
